Sealtite
will make almost any joint watertight. Made of compressible, open
cell foam and impregnated with a waterproof polymer, it provides a
positive water barrier for a primary seal. Sealtite works
under its own constant internal compression to provide a permanent,
watertight seal eliminating costly water damage. Standard
color is charcoal.
Sealtite B
is used behind the backer rod and serves as a dual sealant system when used
with a high quality urethane or a silicone joint sealant. It
is designed with a bond-breaker for caulk. When installed in a
joint, Sealtite B's internal recovery force holds it in place while
the sealant compound prevents penetration of air, dust, noise or
water. Sealtite B can extend up to 100% and return to seal the
joint. It works on a completely different principle from caulk
and therefore is not subject to the same type of failures.
Superior to double liquid sealant applications.
Seismic Sealtite
is a one-step primary sealant for exposed
areas where color matching is important. It has the same
composition as Sealtite except that it has a puncture resistant,
elastomeric coating on the exterior surface. The elastomeric
coating can be factory colored to match most construction
substrates or sealants. The joint is watertight and color
matched.
Sealtite 50N
is designed for horizontal applications that are subject to solvents and fuels
such as those found in road and bridge joints, parking garages, and airport runways.
It has a neoprene copolymer and can be used in vertical or horizontal applications.
Sealtite 50N utilizes a cross-linked foam for high tensile strength and excellent natural UV characteristics.
Hydrostop
is a dense closed cell foam used for high traffic, horizontal applications.
It has a protective skin on the exposed face which provides a
chemically resistant, puncture resistant and waterproof joint.
Due to its strong closed cell structure, HyydroStop has excellent
compression, tension and shear capabilities. It is installed
with a lubricating epoxy that facilitates installation and when
cured, permanently bonds the HydroStop in place.
Color Econoseal
is a dense, closed cell foam typically used for larger movement joints.
It has a colorized silicone kin on the exposed face which provides a
chemically resistant, puncture resistant and waterproof joint.
Due to its strong closed cell structure, it has excellent
compression, tension and shear capabilities. It is installed
with a lubricating sealant that facilitates installation and when
cured, permanently bonds the Color Econoseal in place.
Sealtite VP
is composed of a polyurethane, micro-cell foam waterproofed with a
hydrophobic, flame retardant, acrylic polymer compound that is UV
stable and chemically resistant. Sealtite VP is designed for
vertical applications that require a weather tight, vapor permeable
seal; ideal for cavity walls and areas subject to moisture and
condensation build-up. Sealtite VP is a premium quality "breathable"
joint sealant designed to withstand driving rain to 12psf (69 mph wind) per ASTM E331 & E547.
Sealtite Airstop FR
is a flexible, compressible, open cell polyurethane foam with at
least 80% open cell structure. Material is designed to provide
sound control characteristics in a wide range of applications.
Sealtite Airstop FR is ideal for use as an air infiltration barrier
in stationary or moving joints, such as those in curtain wall to
masonry studs plates to concrete slabs. Material can be coated with
a neoprene coating for use in high wear or exposed applications.
Sound joints with 100% movement capability may be constructed by
gluing Sealtite Airstop to both side walls of a joint.
